Bubbles

Bubbles
As I amble around, bubbles filled the space of my walkway. Surprised, I turned to check where those froth came from… kids squalling bubbles to my direction to their heart’s content.

I thought, “These bubbles give us momentary satisfaction. Puffing air, you give enough effort for the bubbles to come out artistic and eye-catching... but then they go. They vanish, fade away and disappear.” Then you go over it once more, puff air, and you give out your strongest blow. Yet again, they vanish, fade away and disappear.

With love, you go through the same. You give your best effort to commit and dedicate, embracing faith that its there to settle and stay. It’ll offer you fleeting fulfillment and then it’ll just set off… giving you a wake up call that you can’t keep a hold of it and it’ll never come back no matter how much you strive to keep it. It is set to walk off.

It is...

For you... (you know who you are)
Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin

May gusto ka bang sabihin
Ba't di mapakali
Ni hindi makatingin
Sana'y wag mo na itong palipasin
At subukang lutasin
Sana'y sinabi mo na...
Iba'ng nararapat sa akin
Na tunay kong mamahalin

Wag na wag mong sasabihin
Na hindi mo nadama itong
Pag-ibig kong handang
Ibigay kahit pa kalayaan mo

Ano man ang iyong akala

Pag-ibig kong handang
Ibigay kahit pa kalayaan mo...

...and i thought i would be singing "tiny bubbles" after i read this...well friend, you were right..bubbles are meant to "POP"... one minute you are awed by its beauty...by it's lightness...that sometimes you can't help but compare "Life" or "love" with it...you can't help but to question: "why can't love be as beautiful or as light as the bubbles?" and at the end of that question...these bubbles...though beautiful and light as it is..."POPS!" slowly disintegrating right before your very eyes...fading away...like your life? like your love? The good thing about bubbles...of life...of love...is that...you can always try again. Blow up another bubble...live your life again...and fall inlove again...though hard at times...we must not lose hope...it may hurt once or twice but then again..it is a course of life...without hurt, there would be no healing...without bubbles...there's no "POP"
in our daily lives...and that "POP" brings out the best in us...so my dear kristine...keep on "POPPING" because the more it "POPS" the more interesting...life will be.

p.s.
i'm "POPPING" too...
...don't you know?
